Remuneration Policy

ARTICLE 19 Board members do not receive any remuneration from the foundation but may claim the direct cost of travel expenses for attending board meetings upon submission to satisfactory evidence. The current board members are employed by ARTICLE 19, a charity registered in England & Wales, in executive functions and receive remuneration for that function in line with ARTICLE 19’s remuneration policy.

For the senior management staff, the maximum remuneration of individual managers and personnel is always in reasonable proportion to the seniority of their position, expertise and to the geographical location. The pay of other key management personnel and staff is determined by a salary scale which is updated annually in line with inflation and applied to all staff.
